Flings Bins Review And Giveaway

I have to admit that I am really bad at recycling. We have three different garbage cans for our garbage service. I rarely put out the blue recycling garbage can on garbage day because my family doesn't ever seen to put anything in it. The main reason for this is inconvenience. My kitchen is definitely too small for two garbage cans so with that said, all garbage usually goes into the one main garbage can.

My family recently received some Fling Bins to review. These are pop-up trash and recycling containers. They come flat and when you open them up, you have a sturdy garbage bin to throw away your trash and recyclables.  The Fling Bin pictured is their Recycle Bin. This has really made recycling easy at my house for me. I didn't want to keep this in my kitchen, so I have it placed outside my back door. Whenever I see something that can be recycled, I try to throw it in the Fling Bin. The Recycle Bin makes recycling a snap! Each recycle bin holds 60 cans or bottles. What I plan on doing is dumping the bin into my blue recycle garbage can once I reach its capacity and reuse.

Check out this video:

The Flings Bins come in a few different styles too! They have bins decorated for birthday, celebration, bbq/picnic and of course the recycling bin I just was bragging about. The trash containers are decorative and your guests cannot help but notice them. You might even have less of a mess to pickup if you have these out for your guests to use. These handy trash bins are available in packs of four. You can either choose 4 of one design or choose on of their party packs.

Guess What? Fling Bins is offering one of my lucky readers a chance to win their Tailgate/BBQ Party Pack. This includes 2 of their BBQ/Picnic bins and 2 of their Recycling Bins.

I LOVE IT! I love the fact that it is compact and you can take it anywhere! Great for picnics and those bbq's that everyone comes over to! The design is great~helps to include kids in "pitching in" and then they get used to recycling! Wow this is really neat!

i learned that Flings started with Party Containers b/c they listened to consumers via research. Consumers told us that they had no good solutions for managing trash or recycling at parties, picnics or other events -- just dirty old trash cans or a bag hung over a doorknob.

what a great idea!!!!

Interesting! I read that the Flings can be re-used (depending on how messy the garbage was) and then eventually recycled with the rest of the paper. Thanks!

Well this is the first I have heard of Fling Bins, but they are perfect. One thing I learned is that it started with party bins but they are developing other Fling containers to watch out for. Designed to be inexpensive and easy to use!

They have "nonstop collaboration" with trash haulers to keep trying to improve the product.
Also not yet available in WI but there was one flag in MI. Think I'd order online.

I learned Flings can keep up to 60 bottles and cans out of landfills. They are not widely available yet, but you cacn find them at a select few stores/outlets. So I will have to search to find some. :)
