What Is Cooking On Christmas At Your House

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Club House. All opinions are 100% mine.

For most of my 33 years, I have spend Christmas Eve at my grandparents house. We call them Nana and Popo. The family tradition was always to eat a big dinner and then gather in the family room to open gifts. Since my grandparents are getting up their in age, their has not really been much of a family dinner the last few years. With that said, I want to start my own family tradition which includes a family dinner on Christmas.

Guess what? My husband does not agree. He does not want me making a big dinner like we have on Thanksgiving. He would rather eat whatever we want that day. Since I have been watching what I eat to lose weight, he threw it in that I could also eat whatever I wanted including cookies. Now this is a tough decision. I have been doing so good with eating no sweets at all. I actually have only drank water and tea for over a month. No more sodas for me.

Maybe I should make a dinner on Christmas Eve huh? I want to learn how to make my own gravy. I am one of those gals who make gravy from a packet or a jar. I have thrown ingredients into the gravy though. Those who are like Betty Crocker make their gravy from scratch. Someday! Have you heard of Club House Gravy. They have a gravy mix where you add your own drippings from your roast and simmer. This definitely beats just gravy from a packet and might just take a little bit of stress away when you are cooking your family dinner.

You can enter to win a Club House Gravy Pack from Club House. They also have a gravy tips video that shows you tips on making your own homemade gravy. Here is the link to the contest:
