The Joys Of Shopping

This year I have started my Christmas shopping earlier than I normally do. I have actually bought things here and there the last month or so. Then Thanksgiving night, my husband and I hit up Walmart just to see if it was going to be busy. We got there at a little after 9pm. Our Walmart is 24 hours so I was wondering how the 5am sales were going to work. The store had special areas in the stores for each hot item in the ad and people were already in line when we got there. I could not imagine sitting in a store all night just to get a price break on something. I seen people with their kids sleeping in shopping carts with blankets and pillows.

Yesterday on Black Friday, I hit the stores in morning. I did not get up at the crack of dawn though. I waited until about 9am after the mad rushes had left. I still was able to get some stuff in the store ads even 4 or 5 hours after the sales had started. I feel pretty good that already got some of the gifts for the kids out of the way.
