Waiting For The Cake Walk

Have you ever participated in a cake walk? For those that have no clue what a cake walk is, let me tell you. As far as it goes here, the parents donate lots of baked goods. We then put out a table with all the yummy baked goods that have been donated by the parents. For the actual cake walk, you have everyone walk around a circle while playing music. When the music stops, the person in the spot designed as the cake walk prize spot wins. The winner then gets to pick their choice from the table of baked goods.

My daughter's school has been doing this for YEARS. I went to the same elementary school for a couple years and remember doing it back then. The cake walk takes place at the school's Harvest Festival each year. They have games, haunted house, food and more. My daughter Hannah now goes to this school and is patiently awaiting the Harvest Festival.

I want to donate this year, but not sure what I want to bake. I was thinking maybe some cupcakes with a Halloween theme!
