I have had a gym membership for over 6 months and rarely use it. Each month I think that I am going to cancel it and decide to keep it. I need to figure out what exercises I should be doing to help and prevent lower back pain. Since I work at home, I spend a large amount of my time each day in my chair. It puts a toll on my back each day. I am also trying to eat a more healthy diet to shed a few pounds. I am hoping to make it to the gym tonight and stay an hour. The only thing about the gym is that I find it boring. I think it would be better to go with a friend.
The internet is such a great resource to look up ways to get in shape at home and how to eat healthy. There is a website called Back2Yourself that I found quite useful. It has a variety of exercise programs to help those like me get back in shape. Some of these programs include different back exercises, progress tracking and more. I have not yet personally used these programs, but might in the future!
