I have to admit I am one of those moms with a gym membership that rarely goes. I find it extremely boring to go workout by myself. I have tried to get a few friends to go with me, but they don't want to get into any memberships themselves.
So a little over a week ago I decided to buy me a bike. I got me one of those cute beach cruiser bikes that I have been wanting. I even got one of those carts that attaches in the back that holds 2 kids. The first day I got the bike I gave both Hannah and Christopher a ride in the cart. Not knowing much about what not to run over, I got two flat tires in the cart. I have been trying to ride almost every day for at least a half hour. Even though it is hot, riding a bike around the neighborhood is much funner than walking on a treadmill in a gym. I even got my oldest daughter Ariyona going on rides with me.
I want to start some other exercises at home too. I am starting to get low back pain when I bend down or sit in my chair at my desk too much. Am looking to start some daily low back exercises too! Not only am I hoping to get myself more active each day, maybe losing a few pounds will come with that too! I found a website called Back2Yourself.com I think you should check out if you are looking for different exercises that can help with back pain too!
