Girl In A Dress Review

You might think that this post is going to be about a dress that we got to review. It is actually about one of my daughter's favorite t-shirts. When my daughter received her t-shirt from Girl In A Dress, she immediately ripped it out of the packaging and put it on. It came minutes before us leaving to take her to preschool. What worried me was she tends to get messy at school with all the arts and crafts she does, I just had to snap a picture of her in the shirt before anything happened to it.

The shirt that we received was the Girl In A Tiara. I actually let Hannah pick which t-shirt she wanted from four different designs. As she was picking, my twelve year old got jealous and wanted a shirt too! Know that Hannah patiently awaited the arrival of the shirt she choose. That is why she was so excited when the mailman finally delivered it to our front door. When Hannah got to her classroom, she ran into the classroom to show her teacher. Her teacher asked her if she drew the picture of the little girl on the front of the t-shirt. I got to tell her why this shirt is so special.

There is a story behind Girl In A Dress. See, this little nine year old girl named Taylor had a very stylish imagination. One day she created a poem about her love for playing dress up and named her poem "Girl In A Dress". She also decided that the poem needed a few fashionable accessories and drew three pictures. She drew a girl in a tiara, a girl in a beret and a girl in a tutu. Seeing the talent behind this whole thing, Taylor's mom decided to start a business where they turned little Taylor's designs into cute little t-shirts for girls. So when my daughter's teacher asked Hannah if she drew the picture, I told her about the little nine year old that actually designed the t-shirt. When Hannah wore the t-shirt the newt week, her teacher complimented her when she walked in saying "Hannah, you are wearing my favorite shirt". My favorite thing about the shirt is the quality. Most t-shirts you buy online are really thin and wear easily with a few washings. This shirt is going to last a long time!

So neat! I'll have to have my Taylor check it out and see which one she wants.
