Tried Mobile Marketing Yet?
I have been marketing online now for over 10 years. I first took a dip into internet marketing when I was pregnant with my first daughter back in 1996. I started with learning how to create my first website to getting it listed in the search engines. Back then, Google did not even exist. There was another big search engine that I used but I can't even remember what the name of it is right now. Since then, many SEO strategies have been tried, changed and so on. I remember starting a website with another fellow online marketer that used to get our site #1 on the top search engines. Now, it is a little more complex. These days I try to do my best to create my content for the search engines likings. I try to keep my keywords, titles and headings SEO friendly. When I publish a page, I hope that at least Google will like it! Putting your links out on the popular social networks like Twitter, Digg and Facebook will help your pages get indexed faster. Well, at least I think so.

What I want to learn now is mobile marketing. This is something that I honestly do not know much about. I have been online using a cell phone, but advertising on them sounds very interesting. How would you like to see your business being spread via text messaging? I have heard that this is something that many are using now to increase exposure to their businesses. I wonder if they have online courses for it?

There is a company called Cellit Mobile Marketing that provides these types of advertising services to those looking to advertise via mobile phones. This is what you would call SMS solutions! Their clients can track mobile marketing campaigns and measure the effectiveness compared to other advertising they are currently doing. They also offer a service called House4Cell. This is a tool that allows those in the real estate market to send property information instantly about their listings directly to a cell phone.

Anyhow, I think I am going to learn how to create websites for cell phones. These are the websites you would see with a (.mobi) for the ending of their domain. Did you know these types of domains have been available since September 2006? I just might be missing out on something big here. Maybe I should create a MommyEnterprises.mobi someday!

Until Next Time
Stefani
