Radius Toothbrush Review

How often do you change your toothbrush? I change mine at least every three months if not sooner. If you are in need of a new one, you will want to check out the toothbrushes by Radius. I was recently given the opportunity to review their Flax Source Toothbrush. This is a pretty cool toothbrush if I do say so myself. You can get this brush in either wood or flax.

One of my favorite features of this toothbrush is the size of the head. It is large and massages my gums while I brush my teeth. The handle of this toothbrush is bio-plastic sourced from recycled wood fiber and is post-consumer plastic. You know me, trying to add a little more eco-friendly products to my life when I can. It also has comes with a replaceable head. So no more throwing out the whole toothbrush, just the part that needs replacing.

Here are a few more details on this brush from their website:
  • 2 New SOURCE Styles includes Recycled US Dollar Bills from Unites States Mint and Recyled Flax from Linen production.
  • 93% Recycled Material - 47% Renewable Resource.
  • Replaceable Heads + Wooden Handle = Only 7% of toothbrush wasted as compared to 100% of ordinary toothbrushes.
  • Wooden Handle is molded from recycled wood bio-plastic resulting in 100% renewable resource.
  • New lightweight unbreakable replacement heads made from surgical-grade nylon.
  • Dramatically increases softness and efficacy of brushing with 65% more bristle tufts than ordinary toothbrush.
  • Reversible for both Right or Left handed brushing - Available in soft or medium bristles.
  • Handle lasts forever. Simply throw the heads away!

Radius has more than just the Source Toothbrush. They have an Original, Scuba, Intelligent and Kidz brushes. Take a peek at the Intelligent toothbrush, is has a 2 minute timer and a 90 day wear meter. How cool is that?
