Archibald's Swiss Cheese Mountain Review
I love reading to my children. My daughter Hannah is only four and already loves adding new books to her bookshelf. Even my one year old son has books and pretends to read. One of Hannah's newest books to her collection is Archibald's Swiss Cheese Mountain by Sylvia Lieberman.
This book is about a mouse named Archibald who is very excited to go out on his own in search of food. In the beginning, Archibald is afraid when he starts out on his journey, but is able to overcome the obstacles he encounters and grows confidence as he goes along.

Archibald is a little mouse with a big heart. It sends a message to kids that they can achieve their dreams and overcome obstacles even though there may be a little fear. I think it is important for children to hear messages like this one to encourage them to go after things they want even though they think they may not succeed.
