Kimochis Review

I love finding toys that are unique and something that the child next door does not have. When I seen the Kimochis website, I knew my daughter Hannah just had to have one.

The Kimochis are stuffed toy characters that have feelings inside. Kimochi pronounced (key-mo-chee) means "feeling" in Japanese. Beings Hannah is almost 5 and has all types of emotions going through her little mind each and every day, this is perfect for her. When I say they have feelings inside, the toy comes with these little circles that you stuff inside of the character with different emotions on them to show different feelings. Some of these emotions say: Happy, Sad, Brave, Sorry, Loved, Shy, Scared and so on. These are a great communication tool for parents and children to express their feelings.

My daughter Hannah received the Huggtopus Kimochi. Her big sister Ariyona who is 12 showed her all the different emotions and how to use it. I think Ariyona might have wanted one for herself too! Now Hannah has been playing with her Kimochi with her two sisters and just loves it. I hope she continues to use this toy to let us know how she is feeling when she doesn't want to express herself with words. When she is done with it, I will let her pass it down to my son to use too!

You can read more about the Kimochis or purchase on for your child at: http://www.kimochis.com

I have added their video below so you can see exactly how a Kimochi works:
