If you are in New York, you should see if there is a Cozy Cuts For Kids near your home. Don't worry about not being a kid, adults can get their hair cut done here too! What is cool about this shop is they offer some cool freebies that I don't see at my hair salon. They offer your a keepsake lock of hair on your child's first haircut. They also offer free balloons, toy from their goody basket, all the bubbles you can blow and lolly pops. Now this sounds like a fun place to take your child for a hair cut!You can even have a birthday party there. Their birthday parties include hair styling, mini manicures, makeup, temporary tattoos, beauty art projects and more. They have a few different party options you can choose from.
I am in California so I can't visit their salons, but did get to sample some of their shampoo and conditioner for my children. I received their Very Berry Shampoo, Green Apple Swimmers Shampoo and the Sweet Strawberry Conditioner. I also received the cutest little rubber ducky that my son uses when he takes a bath. I first used the shampoo & conditioner I received on my 1 year old son. It left his hair smelling sweet like fruit. I then let my daughter Ariyona use it since she would enjoy using it more than my toddler. What I like most about their products are that they are paraben free.If you are interested in visiting Cozy Cuts For Kids or their products, you can visit their site at: http://www.cozyscutsforkids.com

Hi Stefani! I live on the UWS and gave them a try a few times. I now refuse to even go near a Cozys. They're over-priced and the stores are always a mess. The shampoos are over $10 and have the same ingredients as much cheaper ones. (I know you try to help us Mom's save money so it's worth mentioning.) Plus the stylists didn't have the skills to deal with my very scared child. Awful experience and a bad haircut.
Just my 2 cents.
I am in shock that Lisamom said all those things....Cozy's is the best thing that ever happened to childrens haircuts. The stylists are the best to deal with children they are professional and caring. My whole family goes to Cozy'sincluding myself and my husband. My son is 12 and still goes there. Where else can you play video games while getting your haircut. Obviously Cozy's is a great place she has three stores to prove it and is written up in many magazines as well as on all the talk shows....and lets not forget all of the celebrity clients they have.
Cozys Cuts for Kids ROCKS !!!
and the leave in conditioner is great for adults I swear by it!
Your comment reads like a planted one from the company it self. Who would even mention press?
I wrote what I did to honestly help other moms. The times we've been there the staff was fighting with each other and the stylist was impatient with my little girl. There was hair all over the car she sat in (eww). I hope others have a good experience, really, but in all fairness wanted to share my own.
As for the leave in conditioner - again this sounds planted. There was this article about language that companies use when reviewing themselves - "swear by" is a big one.
just wanted to add that our 2 boys (8 & 5) have been going to Cozy's since their first haircuts. they literally ask to go there. we have been to the madison ave store and the 74th st store. rarely do we make appointements. we've never had to wait very long and the staff have always been accommodating & knowledgeable. we'll keep going until my kids stay stop!
I think Lisamom is just being nasty. Perhaps she had a bad experience but my friends who go to Cozy's love it and so do their kids. Like myself, most have been going since their child's first cut. I go to the one on the UWS and have been to various stylists, ALL of whom have comforted and made my son actually enjoy getting his haircut. The cuts ARE stylish and I have never been less than delighted with the experience.
