What Is Forex Trading?

I have heard the term Forex Trading on the internet for months. I am not one that likes to trade anything to do with money so I really have been ignoring the whole thing for as long as I have been hearing about it. Today I finally decided to look into what Forex Trading really is. Since I like to make money, I thought I should at least know what it is that so many people are talking about.

Here is the definition that I found of Forex Trading online:

The foreign exchange (currency or forex or FX) market exists wherever one currency is traded for another.

This is a market that is going 24 hours a day and five times a week. It is a non-stop cash trading market where currencies of nations are traded via brokers. So it looks like an investor's goal in the Forex trading market is to profit from foreign currency movements. This seems to be huge around the internet. I don't think I will get involved but in searching I found there are many of the Forex Trading brokers such as IBFX Forex Trading.

Do you have any experience with this?
