Christopher's First Birthday

My son just recently celebrated his 1st birthday on January 28, 2009. The night before his birthday I decorated the house with balloons and streamers. Then on his birthday we took all the kids to Chuck E Cheese's. Christopher was sleeping when we got there and when he woke up he was so excited. I took him on all the rides and he had a blast. Our other kids had even more fun. We bought a TON of tokens and let them go wild! When we got home we had him open presents and had him make a mess with his own cake. He was pretty worn out so he did not make the mess we thought he would have.

Next birthday I want to give him a themed birthday party. Probably like a SpiderMan party with tons of decorations and noise makers. I did not go all out this year on party supplies because he really did not know what was going on. Next year, I plan to go all out with the decorations! There is a site I have bookmarked at www.celebrations.com. They have party ideas such as 1st birthday ideas , summer parties, dinner parties, etc. Very cool site for those that need help with party planning.
