Owning Or Renting?

Do you have a monthly mortgage payment? I have one but am happy to have a mortgage of my own rather then paying a landlord's mortgage. The interest rates seem to be always rising too and I am glad that I bought my house when I did. Many are not able to pay their mortgages and some are even losing their jobs. Did you know that owning your own home and being self employed can work together when it is tax time. Since I became a home owner I have been able to some nice write offs. Mortgages can help you save money too!

For those looking to buy a home, make sure you do your research first. Make sure to compare mortgages before you agree to anything. Make sure you are getting the right rate and also the right type (fixed, adjustable, etc). You might even look into remortgages if you already own property and looking for something new. If you already have a mortgage, check to see if you are eligible for mortgage payment protection too!
