Before You Buy New Xmas Lights, Read This!

Christmas is coming real soon, just next month. That means it is going to be time to starting putting up those Christmas lights around your house to make it festive. I always end up buying new lights each year and this year I want to buy some LED Christmas lights instead of the regular ones I usually buy. I have been reading about the LED lights and they are a better choice than using the regular lights that everyone buys every year at this time. The LED lights only use 1/10th of the energy of the old style bulbs and will last more than 50,000 hours compared to 2,000 hours for standard incandescent lights. These lights also create less heat so they are less of a hazard than your standard lights. What do you think about them?
