When The Going Gets Tough

I hate problems that revolve around the word "house". Now that I am a home owner I am responsible for fixing my own problems. I would say the benefits of living in an apartment or renting from someone is when it breaks, it isn't your problem. Well anyhow my water main has broke and water is kinda flooding in my back yard. I am currently waiting for the water company to come out and how me how to turn it off. We found the manhole named "Water" but don't see a shut off valve.

Hopefully my day won't go any worse!
